Zephyr Valve Treatment for COPD Patients at Stanford Healthcare – ValleyCare ( SHC-VC)

Recently Stanford Healthcare – ValleyCare ( SHC-VC) became the second hospital in northern California and one of the first in the country to offer the treatment for COPD/emphysema with the Zephyr Valve System, a minimally invasive therapy offered via bronchscopcy for better lung function and exercise tolerance without the need for surgery. This was achieved via a great collaborative initiative between UHA physician Dr Chirag Pandya and Stanford faculty Dr Arthur Sung
