Effective November 30, Valley Medical Oncology Consultants (VMOC) has joined UHA. For more than 35 years, the physicians at VMOC have helped patients fight cancer and manage their hematology disorders. Since its founding in 1978, the practice has been dedicated to providing outstanding hematology and oncology care to patients in a community setting. This new affiliation will bring enhanced services to patients throughout eight Bay Area locations. As part of this transition, the VMOC radiation oncology service in Pleasanton will become part of Stanford Health Care, with Stanford Medicine physicians providing radiation therapy consultation and treatment.
