Stanford Medicine’s Chief Wellness Officer reflects on burnout, and on his own strategies to stay healthy

Stanford Medicine’s Chief Wellness Officer, Dr. Tait Shanafelt’s research has shown that physician burnout can lead to medical errors and patient complaints as well as longer patient recovery times.
