Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare announced that David Svec, MD, MBA, has become the new Chief Medical Officer. He previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stanford Health Care and as Medical Director of the Hospitalist Team at Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare. He brings nearly six years of experience in internal medicine and hospital medicine to his new position. In his new position, Dr. Svec will help guide the clinical mission of the organization including the development of innovative programs, monitoring outcome measures and developing and implementing improvement plans.
