This issue of UHA’s Coding Corner focuses on fine needle aspiration.  

Fine needle aspiration (FNA) is a diagnostic percutaneous procedure that uses a fine gauge needle (often 22 or 25 gauge) and a syringe to sample fluid from a cyst or remove clusters of cells from a solid mass.
