One of the more stressful aspects of the COVID-19 illness is that most treatments are investigative and must be given within the context of research.
Now, you can refer patients directly to those performing the research through the Stanford Medicine Research Registry which determines a person’s eligibility for enrollment for Research being done at Stanford.
The Research Registry connects patients with teams who are conducting research, to improve health care and well-being. If you or your patient are eligible for a study, researchers may contact you to provide additional details on how to participate.
The Registry is open to ALL participants, whether you:
- have tested positive or negative for COVID-19
- think you may have or had COVID-19
- do not have or never had symptoms of COVID-19
