Effective February 14th, 2019, UHA has updated its policy on Dismissal of Patient from Care. 

The purpose of this policy is to describe processes to follow when it becomes necessary
for a University Healthcare Alliance (“UHA”) affiliated provider or UHA as a whole
to dismiss a patient from care. The procedures described here establish appropriate
steps UHA must take to avoid actual or the appearance of patient abandonment or
unprofessional conduct
