A Clinician Communication Leadership Workshop Open to All Providers

The Stanford Health Care Communication Program invites you to attend ACES: a free of charge, one-day workshop facilitated by ACH-certified Stanford Faculty. ACES uses an evidence-based curriculum designed to help advance communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Workshops will take place at or near the Stanford University campus; additional details (including location) will be emailed prior to the workshop.

ACES will help you to effectively:

• Build immediate rapport, elicit concerns quickly, minimize “doorknob time”, and negotiate the agenda with patients
• Use emotion and compassion to engage in authentic relationship-centered encounters
• End the encounter with clarifying, two-way information sharing that diminishes after-visit phone calls and emails
• Improve outcomes, patient experience, and overall quality of care

Registration for ACES Workshops is now open, and we invite All Physicians and APP’s to participate at no cost. All attendees are eligible to receive 7.25 CME Credit Hours. REGISTER HERE
