A Clinician Communication Leadership Workshop Open to All Providers
The Stanford Health Care Communication Program invites you to attend ACES: a one-day workshop facilitated by AACH-certified Stanford Faculty. ACES uses an evidence-based curriculum designed to help clinicians advance their communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
ACES will help you to effectively:
- Build immediate report, illicit concerns quickly, minimize “doorknob time”, and negotiate the agenda
- Use emotion and compassion to engage in relationship-centered encounters
- End the encounter with clarifying, two-way information sharing that diminishes after-visit phone calls and emails
- Improve outcomes and overall quality of care
Registration for ACES Workshops is now open, and we invite all Physicians, Nurse Practitioner, and Physician Assistants to participate at no cost. All attendees are eligible to receive 7.5 CME Credit Hours. To register, click the link below and select a workshop date that works best for you. Workshops will take place at or near the Stanford University campus; additional details (including location) will be emailed prior to the workshop.
Feel free to share this content and registration info with other clinicians who may be interested. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any additional questions. Thank you for your partnership.
